Kovalam, Thekkady and Alleppey Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Pick up Cochin – Athirapilly - Munnar

Assistance provided by our representative from the moment you arrive at the Cochin railway station or airport. He will escort you to Munnar and on the way you can savor splendid views of tea plantations and small towns looking beautiful with the backdrop of picturesque lush surroundings. Besides this you can witness Cheyyappara waterfalls, Valara waterfalls, that are sure to leave you spell bound. Adimali, a wholesale place for cardamom and spices and Pallivasal are other attractions worth exploring. After reaching Munnar town you can check in your hotel, relax and enjoy an overnight stay.

Day 2

Sightseeing at Munnar

Second day in Munnar begins with breakfast after which sightseeing is organized. The first destination is the fabulous Mattupetty Dam which proffers splendid views of gushing waters. You can enjoy an optional boat drive here. Echo point is well renowned for natural echo phenomenon the famous Shooting Point where film shootings are organized and Kundala Lake offering shikara boating (Own Cost) is included in the itinerary. Sightseeing continues after lunch including a visit to Tea Museum Blossom Park and Pothamedu View Point. Following this, sightseeing ends and you can get back to your hotel and relax.

Day 3

Munnar - Thekkady 110 km / 3hr

Drive from Munnar to Thekkady begins in the morning allowing you to visit various splendid attractions on the way like Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and Following this you can check in the hotel on reaching Thekkady. After relaxing for a while you can indulge in exhilarating optional activities such as elephant safari Kalari Payette-a traditional martial art form Kathakali show Jungle Jeep safari Ayurveda massage plantation visit and boating in Periyar. You are then taken back to the hotel where you can enjoy overnight stay.

Day 4

Thekkady - Alleppey Houseboat

This morning after breakfast checkout from the hotel, driver will takes you to Alleppey houseboat. On reaching, you will check-in to the houseboat. Satiate your hunger pangs with a lovable lunch before setting off for a lovely Houseboat along the backwaters. After a pleasurable day, enjoy a refreshing tea with snacks. Later, savor delicious dinner on board and tuck yourself in your beds for the night at the houseboat.

Day 5

Alleppey - Varkala - Kovalam

Morning after breakfast Check out from the houseboat then Drive to Kovalam & check in the hotel on arrival at Kovalam and relax for a while. You can then proceed with sightseeing activities. Day 6

Kovalam Sightseeing - Padmanabhaswamy Temple

Get ready to spend a day on the beach.
Today, after a lovely breakfast, you can enjoy a bout of sightseeing across the beautiful city of Kovalam, when on a holiday in Kovalam. Visit popular tourist haunts such as Hawaa Beach and Lighthouse Beach. The beaches of Kovalam are perfect for long walks and secluded moments of retrospection.
Visit the nearby market for a spot of shopping on day 2 of your tour. Make sure to pick up all popular souvenirs to take back home. Return to your hotel for the night, as you get ready to wrap up your vacation.

Day 7

Kovalam - Trivandrum Drop to Airport

Check out from the hotel after breakfast & drop back to the Airport.

The above package can be customized as per the customer’s Requirement and budget. In case of any unprecedented hike in airfare, hotel charges or other service charges, the same will be levied extra.

In Uttarakhand and any hill station the facilities of Hotel, Services, Aids etc cannot be matched to developed destinations. Hotels in Himachal are categorized on the basis of location, Services and costing and not as per Star Categorization i.e.;1*, 2*, 3*,4*,5* and so on.
You can check all the hotels quoted by our executive if you want to change any hotels or upgrade service difference will be left, carefully check our confirmation if you want any change then update us within 7 days from the receiving confirmation voucher.
Changes are not possible at the last moment or at the time of check in; it depends on availability with additional charges.
We may have to reschedule the sightseeing days due to the closing of any monument during that particular day to ensure smooth execution of tours.
Extra cost would be applicable for any unforeseen event. Rates may change in the case of hotel rates, transport rates, government taxes or entrance fees
If any amount committed on arrival menaces all the payment you have to pay at the time of pick up if not paid then service will stop.
If you paid the amount by debit & credit card 2.50% will be extra from the package cost
No discount will be provided after confirmation.

Propone and Postpone

If in case you wish to Prepone /postpone your travel dates, we request you to inform us 15 days in advance via mail,

Please note that the services and the costing will be subject to availability of hotel/transport and season/off-season time. (Do intimate us 15 days prior to your journey)
We do not accept any change in plan within 10 days of the travel date. However, in rare cases like adverse climatic conditions or strikes, packages can be postponed which will be intimated to you beforehand.
Advance can be utilized within 1 year from the date of advance payment.

Terms And Conditions

Rates mentioned above are valid for Indian nationals only until and unless specified along with quotation.
The quotations are given without holding any confirmed reservations either in the airlines or in the hotels. Once the quotation is accepted by the guest and an advance amount is deposited either in Cheque / cash to process the reservation, the booking is processed at our end. In case we are unable to get the confirmations then the deposited amount shall be refunded to the guests. Once given confirmation then full and final payment should be made either in cash or draft at the time when all the travel documents are delivered to the guest. For the packages which are booked under our Airline Group Packages airline tickets might be delivered 2 days before the departure of the group.
Base category rooms will be booked in hotels until and unless specified in the quotation. In case the rooms are not available in selected hotels, rooms shall be booked in similar hotel or higher category rooms where you had to pay the difference.
Any date amendments in the air tickets will be considered as cancellation only and new tickets are issued under new applicable fare at the time of issuance of tickets and cancellation charges are applicable for the cancelled tickets as per airline policy.
Any amendments in the date or itinerary are to be intimated to us in writing and amended confirmation depends on the availability of given hotels on requested dates. Cancellation policy shall be applicable in such cases.
In a tour package, no refund shall be made for unutilized services. It is on guest’s discretion whether to take service or not.
Please carry your valid Identity proof card (passport in case of international travel) containing your photograph as it is required at the airport and during check in at hotels. Pan card is not a valid identity proof so please don’t carry that with you.
The check-in and check-out time of most of the hotels is 02 PM to 12 PM and the number of meals including breakfast is always corresponding to the no. of nights booked by the guest. The hotel does not provide breakfast on the day of arrival.
For early check in and late check outs payments are to be settled directly by the guest at the hotel.
The Company will not be responsible in any way for Flight Miss, any loss, injury or damage to person or property in connection with the transportation, caused by acts of strikes, pilferage, breakdown of machinery, accidents, Snow fall etc. All Sightseeing depends on Permits, weather & road conditions.
In case of international travel, rates may vary based on change of ROE or any other fluctuation in the international market or subject to availability.
On accepting this quotation, you accept that you have read the complete package information and agree with booking terms & conditions, payment policy and cancellation policy. You accept the tour package and acknowledge that it fits into your budget and requirement.

Shrijay tours n Travels hereby expressly disclaims any implied warranties imputed by the laws of any Jurisdiction of a country other than those where it is operating its offices for all complaints, suits, claims or disputes of whatever nature relating to any product including tour by shrijay tours n travels, the court and tribunals in Ambala (Haryana), India alone shall have exclusive jurisdiction. All tours are subject to laws, rules of RBI/Govt of India.

Holidays

During local or national holidays or special events, peak seasons, on Sundays, and during religious vgf occasions, certain facilities such as museums, churches, restaurants, sightseeing tours, hotels, and shopping may be limited or not available. Alternatives will be offered whenever possible. Shrijay Tours n Travels cannot be held responsible for any closures, necessary itinerary changes or curtains for any reason. We Are Provided Base Category Rooms In Hotel. In Hill Station We Provide N.ac Room and Cab Ac Also Not Work on Hill Station.
